About ERL

Founded in 2020 under the Dover Street Market umbrella, ERL is based out of Venice Beach, Los Angeles. Creatively led and driven by Eli Russel Linnetz, the brand embodies the laid-back, casual spirit of California, a theme evident in all collections. ERL's unique aesthetic manages to strike a balance between maximalism and minimalism, creating a colorful collection characterized by relaxed shapes and vibrant patterns in a contrasting color palette. 

Before devoting himself to the creation of his own brand, Linnetz worked as a stage-, sound-, set designer, photographer, director, and producer, who collaborated with the likes of Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Teyana Taylor, Lady Gaga etc., and shot fashion editorials starring Justin and Haily Bieber, Shawn Mendes, Selena Gomez, and Grimes.

ERL is characterized by a kind of loving nostalgia for the California vibe, which is linked to a certain lightness of spirit and a constant irony, that makes the brand interesting and never pretentious. The shapes and silhouettes remain linear and essential so that the colors can steal the show, giving new interpretations to otherwise mundane items.
