About JACQUEMUS

Founded in 2009, when founder and designer Simon Porte Jacquemus was only 19 years old, creating his own collections in his off-hours whilst working at the Comme des Garçons store on the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris. Catching the eye of Adrian Joffe, the founder, and president of Dover Street Market and husband of Comme des Garçons’ Rei Kawakubo, JACQUEMUS was with the support of Rei and Adrian pushing the brand into the spotlight.

Wishing to create more bold designs, the now-beloved minimalistic silhouette of JACQUEMUS was born out of necessity rather than a well-thought-out concept but has since become the iconic look of JACQUEMUS. With a selection of styles ranging from oversized shirts, clean-cut tailoring, or his adored leather goods, the brand has cemented its place within today's fashion scene.
