About MARNI

Marni is a premium brand founded by Consuelo Castiglioni in Milan in 1994. Consuelo Castiglioni's fashion line began in 1994, when she became known for her contributions to fur design, which sprang from her husband's family fur company. Fur was normally designed in an old-fashioned style at the time, but Castiglioni used it like any other fabric to create modern, wearable apparel. Her fashion business, Marni, developed in popularity as her consumers demanded something to wear under or with their fur. 

Marni is a way of thinking, a fun spirit with a heritage of friendly, humanist principles paired with an experimental approach to materials and colors, as well as a distinctive aptitude for blending patterns and shapes.
