Founded by Dave Lane in 1989 in British Columbia, Canada, ARC'TERYX was originally named Rock Solid up until 1991 when the name was officially changed to ARC'TERYX. Building their logo on the "Berlin Specimen", a fossil of a bird which is the most complete skeleton found to date, the logo was designed by graphic designer Micheal Hofler. Arc’teryx has prided itself on technical product and comfort of material with designs that transcend performance. As its name suggests, the Everyday collection sticks to what the brand does best, while further extending into the lifestyle space to create an all-encompassing offering that’s equally as useful during the morning commute as it is on the mountain. Ranging from refined GORE-TEX coats and insulated bomber-style jackets to pants and casual lightweight sweaters, the outdoor brand has cemented itself into numerous climbers and clothing lover around the globe.
