Founded in 2025 by Danish designer Maria Wolf Rasmussen, GAUGE is a knitwear brand built around timeless design, quality craftsmanship, and responsible production. With over 20 years of experience in the knitwear industry, including work with established Danish brands such as Aiayu and Andersen-Andersen, Rasmussen brings a considered approach to creating classic, functional, and unisex garments. The brand focuses on understated aesthetics, carefully selected materials, and thoughtful construction, producing knitwear designed to last beyond seasonal trends.

GAUGE’s collections are designed in Denmark and produced by a family-owned knitting manufacturer in Carpi, Italy, where skilled knitters use fully fashioned techniques to shape each garment with precision and minimize material waste. The knitwear is made from wool, including merino and alpaca yarns sourced through traceable supply chains, with an emphasis on certified materials and responsible practices. From yarn selection and knitting techniques to natural corozo buttons and plastic-free packaging, every detail reflects the brand’s commitment to considered production.
