VIBAe is a global footwear brand founded by a group of friends and family, including Tammy and Ludo from Malibu, and Minna, Kalle, and Hannu from Finland. The brand’s name, derived from the Finnish word for “vibe,” reflects its mission to create footwear that embodies comfort, sustainability, and a sense of adventure.

The idea for VIBAe was born during a camper van journey across Finland, where the founders explored Saana mountain in a snowstorm, traversed glaciers on the Norwegian border, and relaxed in rural riverside saunas. Inspired by the beauty of nature and the need for high-quality, ergonomic footwear, they set out to craft shoes that blend ecological responsibility with effortless style.

Designed in Finland and California, VIBAe shoes are handcrafted in Portugal by a third-generation, family-run factory. Each pair is made with a focus on sustainability, using high-quality materials that ensure durability and comfort. Since launching in 2020, the brand has sold over 50,000 pairs in more than 140 countries, expanding its presence with retail stores in Helsinki, Malibu, Barcelona, Tokyo, Sydney, and Hanko.
