About PUEBCO

Puebco is a Japanese brand founded in 2007 by designer Hirotaka Tanaka with the vision of giving new life to overlooked and discarded materials. Rather than focusing on polished luxury, Puebco embraces imperfection, crafting home goods, accessories, and lifestyle objects that celebrate the beauty of reuse and the character of timeworn textures. Many of its products are made from recycled fabrics, industrial remnants, and surplus materials—transformed into practical, everyday items that carry a sense of history and individuality.

Tanaka’s philosophy rejects mass-produced uniformity, instead valuing the charm of objects that feel personal, tactile, and slightly irregular. Each piece, whether it’s a recycled cotton blanket, a metal storage tray, or a canvas tote, carries subtle marks of its past life, blurring the line between functional object and design artifact. This approach has resonated internationally, positioning Puebco as a quiet yet influential voice in sustainable design.

At its core, Puebco is less about following trends and more about cultivating a way of living with objects that tell stories—items that improve with use, reflect resourcefulness, and remind us of the value in the imperfect and the handmade. It stands as a counterpoint to disposable culture, offering products that are timeless, practical, and deeply human.
